I'm still investigating the Pine needles, and on my latest trip I glanced over my shoulder for some reason and saw this fox examining my footprints in the snow:

Not much of a shot, but the camera always has the macro lens attached and the fox was 100m away.

Fantastic.! I was taking pics in the garden at night with flash and macro lens on manual.. then with camera still on, caught a fox in the torchlight... and not a hope in hell of getting a focus before it ran off. Wasn't even that far away.!! Lucky you. Love the wintery look!
