Dry nights are good for moths (and, sadly, midges). This is a new one to me: Muslin Footman -
Nudaria mundana. A very delicate species (the wings are translucent), the larvae feed on lichens.

Epinotia subocellana, which lives on Salix sp. in wet areas:

Back to macro moths. this is the Garden Carpet -
Xanthorhoe fluctuata.

Looks to be
Archarius salicivorus, but I don't know about confusion species.
